POSITION TITLE: Program Coordinator
POSITION TYPE: Full-time
SALARY: 55,000 CAD to 65,000 CAD
REPORTS TO: Executive Director
YUTR MISSION: To engage and equip youth to know and follow Jesus
Primary Objective:
The Program Coordinator will bring oversight to the operations of programs, participate in direct youth ministry and provide leadership to staff and volunteers.

Responsibilities:
SPIRITUAL AND PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT (5%)
- Maintain spiritual vitality
- Develop healthy, balanced personal life
- Be a faithful, contributing member of a local church
- Hold self-accountable to supervisor and mentor/accountability partner
- Form a personal support team: prayer, encouragement, wisdom, finances
- Pursue learning needed for growth and development in role
- Participate in YFC’s prayer meetings
- Complete credentialing program with YFC Canada
YOUTH PROGRAMMING / MINISTRY (70%)
- Provide collaborative leadership to the ministry team in developing and implementing strategies for youth programs.
- Participate in direct youth ministry - evening and day programs, events, trips and conferences.
- Create an environment for growth by creating and inviting youth into healthy and safe community.
- Develop trusted relationships with students and community leaders.
- Work in partnership with area Youth Workers, Youth Ministries, and other like-minded partners to accomplish evangelism and outreach goals including challenging and equipping Christian youth to reach out to their peers.
- Recruit and inspire volunteers to help youth move to the next step towards mental, emotional, physical, social, and spiritual wholeness.
- Cultivate team unity and collaboration.
- Invest in the health and resilience of staff and volunteers.
ORGANIZATION / ADMINISTRATION (15%)
- Meet regularly with supervisor.
- Participate with the Executive Director in ministry evaluation, direction, and vision.
- Utilize times of discernment and ongoing needs assessment to determine how the ministry vision can best be realized in the lives of those served
- Engage in fundraising activities for ministry programs and ensure they operate in a financially responsible manner.
- Participate in annual evaluation and revisiting ministry goals.
PARTNER DEVELOPMENT (10%)
- Personal partnership development – which includes securing and maintaining a sound base of financial & prayer partners to a level sufficient to fund the salary and immediate costs of this position.
- Keeping partners updated through regular communications and prayer request.
